  Para no hacer este artículo tan largo, empezaré con lo que voy a hablar. De la nada, dibuje a Marisela poco después de que dibuje a Maribell por primera vez. La dibuje con cabello lacio de color café y ojos azules. La dibuje con una sonrisa. No sabía cómo nombrarla, así que mi mamá sugirió que la llamara “Marisela”. Nunca había escuchado ese nombre antes y lo escribí de esa forma. Aunque hay personas que lo escriben “Maricela”. Lo mismo pasó con Maribell. Mi mamá me sugirió su nombre también. Nunca jamás había escuchado ese nombre y escribí lo que pensé que era hasta que después me di cuenta que era “Maribel”. Pero decidí mantener “Maribell”. En otro artículo explicaré más a fondo sobre Maribell. Como las dibuje una detrás de otra, decidí que serían hermanas. Pero así fue como Marisela llegó por primera vez al papel.

  Al principio, fue difícil escoger para mi, ¿cuál de las dos hermanas sería protagonista? ¿Maribell? ¿Marisela? ¿Ambas? Maribell se miraba creida y de dinero con su vestido. No parecía tener la mejor personalidad como protagonista. Entonces, decidí que iba a ser deportista pero como que mi mente decía “No”. Allí fue cuando dejé a Maribell a un lado para el protagonismo. Tendría que ser ahora Marisela. Okey, había decidido la protagonista, ahora, ¿y la historia? Primero, quería una historia dramática de dos hermanas. Pero esa ya es historia para otro artículo. Después vino la personalidad. ¿Qué clase de persona sería Marisela? De la nada, todo vino a mi mente. Marisela soñaría con ser detective ya que el título del libro tenía “Secretos” en el nombre. Los libros se iban a tratar de Marisela resolviendo misterios pero bueno… admito que esa idea llegó a descarrilarse. 

  Marisela Castillo. El apellido emergió de la nada e igual su historia de fondo. En cuanto tuve bien a la personaje en mente, lo demás vino como si nada. El resto de lo que serían los primeros 6 libros de “Secretos del bosque” vinieron a mi mente. Incluyendo el destino de Marisela para el libro #6. Y me fascino una idea. Si un personaje es capaz de avanzar como persona, ¿qué tal…? Después van a averiguarlo.

  Pero eso es todo por hoy. Hoy en día saben que Marisela tiene 13 años, le gustan los libros de detectives, ayuda a los demás y que tiene un amor secreto. Vive con su mamá Flor y hermana melliza Maribell. En el pueblo, Marisela tiene a sus amigas Alice, Marie y Ellen. También, Marisela se lleva bien con su tía y su prima. Si quieren saber más de ella, pronto vendrá “Secretos del bosque 4”. ¿Emocionados? ¡Eso espero! Y después de “Secretos del bosque 4”, seguirá una cierta secuela de otra serie…

  In order to not make this article so long, I will start with what I am going to talk about. Out of nowhere I drew Marisela shortly after I drew Maribell for the first time. I drew her with straight brown hair and blue eyes. I drew her with a smile. I didn't know what to name her, so my mom suggested that I call her “Marisela”. I had never heard that name before and I wrote it that way. Although there are people who write it "Maricela". The same thing happened with Maribell. My mom suggested her name too. I had never heard that name before and I wrote what I thought it was until later I realized that it was “Maribel”. But I decided to keep “Maribell”. In another article I will explain more about Maribell. Since I drew them one after the other, I decided that they would be sisters. But that was how Marisela first came to paper.

  At first, it was difficult for me to choose, which of the two sisters would be the protagonist? Maribel? Marisela? Both? Maribell looked smug and rich in her dress. She didn't seem to have the best personality to become the protagonist. So, I decided that she was going to be an athlete but my mind sort of said “No”. That's when I put Maribell aside off the spot for protagonist. It would have to be Marisela now. Okay, the protagonist had been decided, now, what about the story? First, I wanted a dramatic story of two sisters. But that is a story for another article. Then came the time to choose the personality. What kind of person would Marisela be? Out of nowhere, it all came to my mind. Marisela would dream of being a detective since the title of the book had “Secrets” in the name. The books were going to be about Marisela solving mysteries but well… I admit that that idea got a little out of path.

  Marisela Castillo. The last name emerged out of nowhere and so did her backstory. As soon as I had the character in mind, the rest came from nowhere. The rest of what would be the first 6 “Secrets of the Forest” books came to mind. Including Marisela's fate by book #6. And I got fascinated by an idea. If a character is able to advance as a person, how about...? You will find out later.

  But that's all for today. Today y’all know that Marisela is 13 years old, she likes books about detectives, helps others and that she has a secret love. She lives with her mother Flower and twin sister Maribell. In town, Marisela has her friends Alice, Marie and Ellen. Also, Marisela gets along well with her aunt and cousin. If you want to know more about her, "Secrets of the forest 4" is coming soon. Excited? I hope so! And after “Secrets of the Forest 4”, a certain sequel to another series will follow…
